Big Lots Furniture

Big Lots is full of crap.  I guess it’s all surplus and/or “irregular” crap, like a Ross or a Marshall’s would carry, only not as high end. Still, Big Lots has some good deals, and is worth checking out if you’re on a budget or just really into junk.

This particular Big Lots is 2 stories, with furniture, patio and yard supplies, and linens… roughly, downstairs.  You’ll also find some of that stuff upstairs, but upstairs houses mainly kitchenware, refurbished appliances, food, sundries, toys and… more crap.

I walk to this Big Lots mainly for paper products, ie: TP.  Great deals on Quilted Northern here, my friends. Last week I also picked up an oscillating pedestal fan for 16 bucks, which works like a dream (a vaguely rickety dream) and will come in handy this summer.

Which reminds me, Buy A Fan Now, Sd Yelpers Who Lack Them.  You know you can’t find a fan in SD after July. This Big Lots is great. The staff was always friendly and tons of goodies came in everyday so each visit was like new, except you always found your staples there.

The main floor is where all the essentials are and everyday stuff you might need. Toys, some clothes, kids stuff and housewares are downstairs. THREE FLOORS PEOPLE. Elevator and stairs available for all three.

This place really deserves its own location and not an old shared building with others. If you are in a pinch and short on cash (I’ve typed that phrase like three times now), I would def go to big lots to save on groceries…the staples like rice and cereal, or tortillas…canned goods.

DEF go there for cheap paper goods, like plates, toilet paper, paper towels, and Kleenex.  i always go to the basement floor for laser jet/xerox paper for my printer. Big lots furniture is the BOMB for cheap school supplies, especially if you are a teacher and you buy in bulk because you can’t get what you need through your own school.
