Furniture is an important part of societies in the world. Since long before the beginning of recorded history, people have used at least some forms of furniture.

Before that there can be no doubt that they use the parts that benefit all around them, like a good-shaped rock or log, with the same end result.

While the presence of furniture has not changed in all this time, though the furniture itself has very much changed over the years. Basically every aspect of furniture has changed with the possible exception of its basic purpose.
